Sheriff Jamie Hamilton recently recognized Christian Lucas McArthur, son of Dillon County Detention Center Lieutenant Terry McArthur.
Christian was awarded the 2024 H.T. “THE JAILMAN” Leary Education Scholarship at this year’s South Carolina Jail Administrator’s Conference.
Christian is first of Dillon County to receive this honor.
