Christian Britt of Latta was pinned with his badge as an official City of Florence firefighter at a special ceremony held on September 19th at Staybridge Suites in Florence.
Christian recently successfully completed his probationary period. He was pinned by his father, Andy Britt, a lieutenant at the Windy Hill Fire Department and Chief of Dillon County Station Two (Latta).
Christian is a fourth generation firefighter. He is a volunteer firefighter on Dillon County Station Two
Christian is the son of Andy and Belva Britt of Latta and the grandson of Buzzy (a lifetime member of the Latta Fire Department) and Nancy Finklea of Latta and H.T. (a former firefighter) and Carolyn Britt of Lumberton, N.C.
