CareSouth Carolina Unveils New Boardroom at St. David’s Building in Society Hill

Society Hill, S.C.— CareSouth Carolina is pleased to unveil its new boardroom, titled the Mary J. Garvin Executive Boardroom, located at the St. David’s Building in Society Hill.
The boardroom honors Mary J. Garvin’s remarkable contributions to CareSouth Carolina. Mrs. Garvin, a Chesterfield County resident near the Society Hill area, has been a dedicated board member for over 40 years.
“I am so proud to announce the dedication of the Mary J Garvin Executive Board room in honor of Mary J Garvin,” CareSouth Carolina CEO Ann Lewis said. “Located at the CareSouth Carolina newly renovated offices at the St. David’s Administrative building in Society Hill. As a founding Board member from 1979, Mrs. Garvin has been a distinguished leader whose vision and dedication have significantly contributed to the growth and success of our organization and to improving the health and well-being of the communities. She has been a mentor and inspiration to me and so many others, demonstrating exceptional dedication and passion for the mission of CareSouth.”
Mrs. Garvin expressed her surprise and gratitude at the honor. “It was a surprise. That was my first time seeing the remodeled St. David’s building. I thought we were just having our first meeting. I had no idea the new boardroom would be named after me. I’m thankful for this honor.”
Looking ahead, Mrs. Garvin shared her enthusiasm for CareSouth Carolina’s future.
”I’m excited about everything we’re doing,” she said. “Our growth and our continued commitment to helping those in need are inspiring. I’m confident in CEO Ann Lewis, our staff, and everyone involved in our ability to reach and serve our communities. We’re not stagnating; we aim to provide service wherever needed.”
The unveiling of the Mary J. Garvin Executive Boardroom marks a significant milestone for CareSouth Carolina as it continues its mission to deliver high-quality healthcare to the communities it serves.
The refurbished and renewed St. David’s facility will serve as administrative offices, freeing up space in other CareSouth Carolina locations to enhance patient experience efficiency. This new facility will enhance administrative operations and ensure a more efficient and effective patient experience across all CareSouth Carolina locations.
