The East Dillon Baptist Church Camp Meeting 2024 began on Sunday, May 19, at 6:00 p.m.
After Pastor James Smith welcomed everyone, Ron Taylor with the Pee Dee Baptist Association offered prayer followed by Mrs. Connie Smith who led the congregation in 2 hymns: “Brethren We Have Heard On High” and “In The Bond Of Love”.
Pastor Smith stated “We need a touch from God. What better place to be than in the House of God.”
Rev. Richie Hicks of Dillon Second Baptist Church opened the services with speaking from Isaiah 6:1-13 entitled “Finishing Well”. At the conclusion of his sermon, a prayer was offered and an invitational hymn, “Breathe On Me”, was given to the congregation.
Rev. Harold Cooke of Mount Calvary Baptist Church spoke from Ezra Chapter 3 entitled “Spiritual Restoration”. At the conclusion of his sermon, a prayer was offered and invitational hymn, “Have Thine Own Way”, was given to the congregation.
The Benediction concluded the services.
An invitation is extended to all to attend the Camp Meeting 2024. The Down East Boys Pre-Service Concert begins at 6:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, May 20 through 23.
