Burt Rogers has been named the Dillon City Manager upon the retirement of the current City Manager Glen Wagner next year at the Dillon City Council meeting on Monday night.
Rogers, age 48, graduated from Francis Marion University.
He began his employment with the City of Dillon in April of 1999 to present.
He worked in the recreation department for the first year and was promoted to street supervisor in early 2000. He held this title until 2016. Rogers became Public Works Director during this time and held this title until early 2024 when he was appointed assistant city manager.
