A report was received around 4:30 a.m. this morning on a bursted water line on West Main Street in Latta. According to Latta’s Assistant Town Administrator Brad Coward, after the first call, Grand Strand came and fixed the first line and the pressure caused the AC line to burst. They set up locates and went back to Marion to pick up additional parts. Assistant Administrator Coward said he and the Latta Town Council appreciate the hard work and dedication of Grand Strand and the patience of the citizens. They especially thank Dylan, Bryson, Boots, Larry, and Chris, who came out this morning. Water should be restored shortly. Residents are reminded that with the ongoing water system work short outages may occur.
