Ryan James Brigmon, 32 years old, from Marion, SC was arrested on July 2, 2024, for an incident that occurred in the 900 Block of Strawberry St. on June 10, 2024, resulting from multiple shots being exchanged between a group of individuals. No one was hit by gunfire during the incident, however, multiple homes and vehicles received damage as a result of this incident.
During the arrest, Mr. Brigmon did have in his possession a firearm, marijuana, cocaine base and methamphetamine. The firearm that was in his possession had been reported stolen out of the Myrtle Beach area.
Mr. Brigmon is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana – 3rd Offense, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine Base – 3rd Offense, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine – 3rd Offense, Felon in Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts), Possession of a Stolen Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm.
Mr. Brigmon’s bond was set at $40,000 for the drug offenses and $1,087 for Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits. No bond was set for Felon in Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts), Possession of a Stolen Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm. These bonds will be set at a later date by a Circuit Court Judge.
