BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Tywanda Rogers–Real Estate Is Her Passion

Tywanda Rogers is one of the first African American women to work inside of a Real Estate Brokerage in Dillon, S.C., as a Real Estate Agent and the first to do so at Dillon Realty. Dillon Realty has been in existence around sixty plus years. Rogers says real estate was her passion since she was a child. She spoke about how she used to decorate her mother’s house and pretend she was an agent. Tywanda is the daughter of Jeanette Whittington & Lamont Bethea. She has three daughters, Eisha Carmicheal, Janeya Rogers, Jakayla Rogers, and one granddaughter, Riley Page. Rogers says it feels amazing to sell real etate in the town she loves wholeheartedly.
