Michelle Keyes-Gibbons works to help young people do their best whether it’s in the classroom, on the court, in church, or in the community.
Michelle is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University. She is a 5th grade teacher at Gordon Elementary School teaching math and science. Michelle coaches B-team volleyball, Junior Varsity girls basketball and helps with the Varsity Girls basketball team. Michelle has been coaching from rec basketball to school ball for about 15 years.
Michelle has a heart for all young people. “Seeing young people go on to be the best versions of themselves inspires me to pour as much love and hope into as many young people as possible,” said Michelle. “If we can reach as many young people and guide them and love them now we can shape the world to be a better place through the adults that these young people will grow up to be. Some of the young people I’ve helped through sports and church have grown up to be great adults and impactibg this world in a tremendous way,” Michelle said.
Michelle is active in her church, Bibleway Tabernacle, under the leadership of Pastor Mary Keyes. Michelle is the assistant pastor at BWTC. Michelle is married to David Gibbons. They have seven beautiful children and one beautiful granddaughter.
