Beulah Light Chapter #9 held their annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 21st at Hilltop Park. There were 3 on 3 basketball games, a cornhole toss game, free food and drinks, and music. Herb Jacobs of the Latta Voter Registration Coalition was on hand to register voters, and Mertis Barnett of the Dillon County Library Lake View Branch was there talking about all the library has to offer. The event goes until 4:00 p.m. today.
