Beulah Baptist Church Holds Second Monday Night Revival Service

Rev. Harold Cooke

Beulah Baptist Church held the second Monday night revival service on Monday, August 11, at 7:00 p.m.
The inclement weather did not deter those seeking a blessing from the Lord .
Gary Bethea welcomed those in attendance to the service followed by a congregational hymn, “What A Lovely Name”.
Rev. David Owens offered a prayer followed by announcements and thanked everyone for their presence at the service.
Debbie Hill blessed everyone with 2 solos, “Lovely Name of Jesus” and “Come Jesus Come”.
Rev. Harold Cooke, pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, was the guest speaker. He spoke from Zephaniah 2, “God Who Is Merciful”. Rev. Cooke offered a prayer.
He stated that Zephaniah is full of good news and bad news. God’s judgment is coming.
The theme of Zephaniah is “The Day of the Lord’s Judgment”. God’s wrath: 1. everything on earth will be judged. 2. There will be a silence. 3. A battle will take place.
At the conclusion of the service, an invitation was given followed by the Benediction.
Beulah Baptist Church is located at 2331 Harllees Bridge Road, Hamer.
