The Bethesda Academy Blazers of Savannah, Georgia, defeated the visiting Dillon Christian School Warriors 35-6 in varsity football action played in Savannah, Ga. on Friday, October 11.

With about 11 minutes remaining in the first quarter, the Blazers scored a rushing touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good. Bethesda Academy led 8-0. Jordan Cheever added 6 points on a rushing touchdown with about 6 minutes to go in the first quarter. Cheever added the 2-point conversion. The Blazers were up 16-0.
With about 4 minutes left in the first quarter, Raleigh Wesley rushed for a TD. The 2-point conversion failed. Bethesda Academy led 22-0.
The Blazers added an 11-yard rushing TD with about 6 minutes remaining in the first quarter. Hociel Hernandez Garcia’s PAT was good. The Blazers led 29-0. This score held until halftime.
