Sheriff Jamie Hamilton invites you to an “Are You Okay?” luncheon on June 18th, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Dillon Wellness Center, 1647 Commerce Drive, Dillon, SC 29536.
The Are You Okay program is for everyone. Mr. Moses Heyward leads the program at the Sheriff’s Office and currently has 109 people enlisted. Mr. Moses calls each of them weekly to check on them, performing wellness checks, prayer and advice as needed.
The program is designed to check on the Seniors and those in need. Since the start of the program, Mr. Moses has made phone calls weekly, offering prayer, providing assistance through conversation, counseling, listening and going to the residences providing wellness checks.
Help is available for anyone that needs it. Sheriff Hamilton encourages everyone to participate. All that is needed is a phone number, an address and a 1st contact person in case you’re not able to be reached.
