Arclin To Invest More Than $60 Million, Create 30+ Jobs With Expansion In Dillon County

Arclin, a materials science company, announced today (Monday) it is expanding its operations in Dillon County. The company’s more than $60 million investment will create over 30 new jobs.
The expansion will add 60,000 square feet and a new production line to Arclin’s existing facility, located at 219 Harllees Bridge Road in Dillon, to meet increased customer and market demand. Operations are expected to be online in July 2026.
A celebration of the expansion will be held this fall.
At a called meeting on Friday, the Dillon County Council finalized the agreements to make the project possible. Arclin representatives in attendance were all smiles when the positive unanimous votes took place. Dillon County Council Chairman Stevie Grice called on Allen Rogers of Arclin to make comments after the agreements were approved.

Rogers said, “On behalf of Arclin, I want to say thank you for your support, how proud we are to invest some more in Dillon and in South Carolina. We have enjoyed a lot of collaboration and success with you since we started in 2022. We thank the members of the Dillon community for all their help and support. We look forward to growth and deepening our footprint in Dillon County with you.”
Rogers said Arclin makes specialized overlays. They have a number of applications particularly in the building and construction industry, leveraging their technologies and polymers as well.

Dillon County Economic Development Director Rodney Berry thanked the Dillon County Council for their unwavering support. Berry thanked the Harvest Group for their professionalism. Berry said the county won out on numerics. They have a model they plug things in and you are to be commended for that because you made an environment conducive for economic development. Dillon County won on the modeling. Berry said he was “so tickled to death” at what’s taken place here. Speaking to the Arclin representatives, Berry said thank ya’ll and that he looked forward to future expansions.
Dillon County Council Chairman Stevie Grice thanked the Arclin representatives and wished them future success. In a formal statement released today, Grice said, ““Dillon County Council is ecstatic about Arclin’s decision to expand their current operations in Dillon County. We believe an existing industry expansion is one of the highest compliments a county can receive simply because the company has experienced the ability to flourish in an atmosphere that we’ve strived hard to create. In Arclin’s case, the company enjoys several successful locations in the USA, and Dillon County was favorably awarded the selection. We will remain vigilant in our efforts to constantly create conducive environments for Arclin and all of our existing industry to thrive in.”
Robbie Coward, the Dillon County District Six Councilman where Arclin is located, said, “”Today is a result of teamwork by County Council, our administrator and the economic developer. Over the years council has made Dillon County fertile ground for Industry to thrive. Our focus on the Inland Port and Industrial Parks has put us in a position to win. Dillon County won out competing with two other states to win this $64+ million-dollar expansion. Ultimately the winner is our citizens as these efforts create jobs and help us keep taxes low. Thank you Arclin for your partnership and trust in Dillon County”.
Arclin President and Chief Executive Officer Bradley Bolduc is pleased with the expansion. “We are pleased to be expanding our Dillon, S.C., facility, which builds on the success we’ve experienced in this location since 2022. We are proud to be a part of this community and are excited to continue growing alongside our valuable partners, unlocking a brighter future for everyone.”
