The annual Isham and Mary Hays Watson Descendants Association Reunion was held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the historic Antioch Church in Sellers at 11:00 a.m. The first reunion was held in 1904. President Thomas McElveen presided over the meeting. During the service, several hymns were sung, the minutes of the last meeting were read, the treasurer’s report, and a building and grounds report was given. The announcement of a large gift to the association was made. Memorials were read and flowers were placed in a vase in memory of those family members who have passed by Ginnifer Lee McGill-Kirk and family. Special recognitions were given. The youngest person in attendance was four years old. The oldest person was over 90 years old. The family members who traveled the fartherest were from Richland, Missouri and traveled 975 miles to be at the reunion. The next fartherest was from Miami, Florida, and traveled 775 miles. There were 92 people in attendance at the reunion. The number from the family branches included Matthew-15, James-9, Elizabeth-1, Samuel-2, William-63, and Euphemia-1. After the service, several enjoyed lunch on the grounds.
