Albert J. Herring, Jr., 68, passed away at the McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee September 11, 2024. Funeral services will be held privately by the family with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
Albert was born in Dillon, SC March 24, 1956 the son of the late Albert J. Herring and Betty Jean Price Herring. He retired from Dixiana Mills where he was a forklift operator. He attended Beulah Baptist Church. Albert loved his C. B. Radio and belonged to a C. B. Radio Club for many years. He didn’t allow anybody to go into his radio room.
Albert is survived by his nephew, Charles F. McDaniel of Florence, SC and niece, Brandy Marie McDaniel of Orangeburg, SC. He was predeceased by his sister, Rose Marie Herring McDaniel.
