Abducted Infant Located Safe In Dillon; Father Wanted By Police

A missing/abducted infant was located safe at an apartment complex in Dillon on July 8th, and his father is still wanted, according to a report by Cpl. Timothy George. The two-month-old child was last seen in the custody of his father at a Chuck E. Cheese in Goldsboro on July 5th, a post by the Goldsboro Police Department said.
George’s report says that on July 8th, the Dillon Police Department was contacted by SLED and was told that the child was believed to be in the Dillon area. The child was located and taken to the Dillon hospital where he was reported to be in good health. Arrangements were made for the mother to pick the child up.
The suspect, Amos Damas, Jr., age 30, of Huckleberry Lane in Clinton, S.C., was still wanted by police at the time of this report.
