Dillon Native Pierre Salmon Making A Name For Himself As A Chef In Spartanburg

A Dillon native is making a name for himself as a chef in the Spartanburg, S.C. area.
Pierre Salmon, a class of 1996 graduate of Dillon High School, has his own restaurant called “Pierre’s Soul Food,” which he opened in May 2023, and it’s a big hit.
Salmon’s culinary talent was well-known in the Spartanburg area for some time as he was the featured chef at McClellan Urban Eatery and at Monarch Cafe for 3+ years. However, it was the skills and recipes that he learned from the tender age of seven from his grandmothers and mother in Dillon that set the foundation for his culinary talent and the dishes he serves at Pierre’s. He uses his family recipes and makes them into more healthy dishes with a traditional Southern flavor.
He combines his succulent menu with friendly service, quality food, and a warm-welcoming atmosphere to create a restaurant that customers return to again and again. His restaurant serves lunch and dinner 6 days a week and breakfast brunch on Saturdays only. His menu includes items such as a bacon burger plate, a pan-seared salmon plate, pork chops, fried chicken, hamburger steaks, fried fish on Fridays, wings, and much, much more.
Salmon would love for his Dillon friends to visit and try out his restaurant if you are in the Spartanburg area. The address is 404 McCravy Drive, Suite D, Spartanburg.
