Dillon High School Holds First Youth Football Camp

The Dillon High School varsity and junior varsity coaches and players held the first youth football camp for ages 8 through 12 on Thursday, July 11, at the Dillon High School football practice fields behind Dillon High School located at 1738 Hwy. 301 North, Dillon, S.C.
The Wildcats Varsity Head Football Coach Kelvin Roller stated “It’s a great way to get our youth out for some summer time activities. During the camp, each age group had a long-distance throwing contest and the fastest runner for each age group beginning with age 8, age 9, age 10, and age 11 and 12. The throwing winners were: l to r: Nicholas Marks, Aden Duke, Kayden Brunson, and Ashton Lane. The fastest runners were: l to r: Ja’Dore Walters, Trenton Blue, Aireon Owens, Pernell Legette, and Wesley Clark.
At the conclusion of the football camp, everyone was treated to a hot dog and a beverage plus water features.
