The Hanahan Hawks defeated the Dillon Wildcats 11-1 in varsity baseball playoff action on Thursday, May 14, in Dillon.
Hanahan scored a run in the top of the first inning. Dillon answered with a run in the bottom of the first inning to tie the score at 1. Hanahan added a run in the top of the second inning, 2 runs in the top of the third inning, 5 runs in the top of the fourth inning, and 2 runs in the top of the sixth inning.
Dillon will host Waccamaw on Saturday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Dillon Memorial Stadium.
Hanahan will travel to Mount Pleasant on Saturday, May 16, for a 7:00 p.m. game against Oceanside Collegiate Academy.
