May 16 was such a fun and delightful day to spend with the Beulah Baptist Church women (and some friends)! We hosted a tea party, fellowshipped together, ate delicious treats, and even made some new unexpected friends!
We met two wonderful people with some interesting history (literally)!! Meet Sunny and Eric (I hope I spelled their names correctly)! In the pictures, Sunny is the sweet lady wearing the hat and white shirt in the front! Eric is the only guy in the picture and is Sunny’s husband, haha. He is a biker for what is called the Original 13! Today, they just happened to be traveling (Eric biking and Sunny driving a car) and our church just so happened to be a checkpoint for them to meet up! We invited them in to join us where we learned that Eric so happens to be the great, great, great grandson of Betsy Ross (don’t know her in history? Look her up)! How cool is that?!
Thank you to everyone who came out, brought a treat or two, and helped out! It couldn’t have went any better, I believe!
