Each year, the Latta Rotary Club in partnership with the Latta Schools Educational Foundation hosts a Happy Feet event where students take a trip to Shoe Show in Dillon to purchase new shoes. Members of the Latta Rotary Club met students from Latta Elementary School at the store and partnered up to help students get sized and pick out the perfect shoes.
The Latta Rotary Club is a continuous supporter of the Latta School District hosting events like Happy Feet, providing scholarships for high school seniors, and issuing reference books (i.e. dictionary, thesaurus, and atlas) to elementary and middle school students.
The Latta School District would like to thank the Rotary Club and the Latta Schools Educational Foundation for their active involvement in the lives of Latta students.
