The Latta Vikings defeated the Scott’s Branch Eagles of Summerton, S.C., 58-49 in Latta on Tuesday, February 17.
At halftime, Latta was up 28-22. After 3 quarters of play, Latta was up 44-39. In the fourth quarter, Latta extended their lead by 10 points before Scott’s Branch cut the lead a little.
Latta is 17-5 overall and 9-3 in region play.
Branchville defeated Bamberg-Ehrhardt of Bamberg on Tuesday, February 17, 65-61.
Branchville is 16-9 overall and 4-5 in region play.
Latta will face Branchville on Saturday, February 21.
