Mount Calvary Baptist Church honored the graduates of the church on Sunday, June 2, at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Pastor Harold Cooke opened the services with prayer.
Each graduate was honored with a gift from the church that included a Bible.
The 5K graduates were Parker G. Arrington, Megan Byrd Ella G. Haselden, Peyton C. Bailey, Michaela R. Griffey, and Emily L. Price.
The high school graduates were Macie A. Bailey, Preston B. Haselden, Ashton K. Hazelden, Adam D. Peacock, and Carly A. Strickland.
The college graduates were Jessica Tanner and Joshua Tanner.
The 5K graduates will, of course, be entering the first grade.
The high school and college graduates answered questions about their honors at school and what the future held for each one of them.
After the graduates were honored, worship through giving was held.
The congregation sang “Mighty to Save” and “Holy Spirit”.
Pastor Harold Cooke’s sermon was from Acts 4:13.
An invitation was given followed by the Benediction.
