ROWLAND, NC – Lora Ann McInnis, 63, passed away at the UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2026 in the Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon, SC with interment in Rowland Cemetery in Rowland, NC. Kay McGirt is officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC
Lora was born in Laurinburg, NC October 14, 1962, the daughter of Peggy McKown McInnis and the late Julian Walter McInnis. She was employed with UNC Health as a Nurse. She had previously worked with Kannaday Funeral Home as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer. She was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She loved all of her cats, dogs, and other fur or feathered creature that may find their way to her house.
Lora is survived by her mother, Peggy Weaver of Rowland, NC; son, Zachary J. Sisler (Kayla) of Clio, SC; sister, Robin McInnis (Lee) of Richmond, VA; grandsons, Asher Sisler and Kaiden Miller; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sherry Kilpatrick.
