LMS Automation and Robotics Class Spreads Holiday Cheer

LMS was in the Holiday Spirit! On Friday, December 12th, Mr. Hedgepeth’s first 8th grade Automation and Robotics class spread a little holiday cheer by stringing lights down the main hall. This idea started out as a debate between Mr. Hedgepeth and Mrs. Brigman about which lights (white or multi-colored) are more popular. From there, they had the idea to string lights in the halls. To make this possible, Mr. Hedgepeth’s students measured the hall and calculated the diagonal lengths using the Pythagorean Theorem to determine how many feet of lights they would need. They ended up stringing over 400 feet of lights. Not only will this bring excitement to the student body, but it created excitement for Mr. Hedgepeth’s students!
