Missing Man Table On Display At KJ’s

“The Missing Man Table”, sometimes referred to as the “Fallen Comrade Table” reminds us of the fallen, missing, or imprisoned United States military service members, is located at KJ’s IGA Market.
Please check out the display plus the flags there.
Each item on the table represents emotions for the soldiers who served to protect everyone’s freedom in the United States but did not come home. These soldiers are with us in spirit.
The meaning for the round table is to show our everlasting concern for our missing men. The salt represents the tears of our missing and their families. The table cloth is white that represents the purity of their motives when called to serve. The lemon slice is a reminder for the bitter fate that they must have suffered when captured in a foreign land. The upside-down glass represents the fact that they cannot share a toast. The single red rose that is displayed in a vase reminds us of the lives of these Americans, their loved ones, and friends who are faithful while seeking answers. The Bible represents the strength gained to sustain us and those lost from our country as founded one nation under God. The empty chair and the seat remain unclaimed at the table.
All Americans should never forget the brave men and women who have and will fight for our freedom.
May God bless America.
