Marion County Sheriff’s Office – Street Crimes Unit Arrest
A recent traffic stop conducted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit, with assistance from K9 Dutchie, resulted in the arrest of 59-year-old Daniel Ray Buie of Latta.
Following the investigation, Buie was charged with the following offenses:
*Trafficking Fentanyl – 28 grams or more
*Trafficking Methamphetamine – 10 grams or more but less than 28 grams
*Trafficking Cocaine Base – 10 grams or more but less than 28 grams
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, II, III (2nd Offense) – Naloxone strips
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV – Lorazepam (1mg doses)
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV – Alprazolam (1mg doses)
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV – Tramadol
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV – Alprazolam (5mg doses)
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, II, III (2nd Offense) – Oxycodone (5mg doses)
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, II, III (2nd Offense) – Hydrocodone (10mg doses)
Buie was transported to the Marion County Detention Center, where he was later released on bond.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
