Dillon Police Department Seeking Man Wanted For Murder

The Dillon Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Joatur Delee Blakely, who is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the 24-Hour Spot, located at 201 Highway 301 South within the city limits of Dillon.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. on November 3, officers along investigators with the Dillon Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at the business. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim lying on the ground who appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds. The victim was transported
by EMS to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators on scene were able to quickly identify Joatur Delee Blakely, age 25 as the suspect based on video surveillance of the incident and witness statements.

The Dillon Police Department advises the public not to approach Blakely, as he should be considered armed and dangerous.
