The Latta Lady Vikings won 3-0 over the Allendale Fairfax Lady Tigers in Round 1 of the SCHSL 1-A Lower State varsity volleyball playoffs held in Latta on Wednesday, October 22.
Latta’s Chayse Walters had 14 aces, 24 assists, and 4 digs. Aliyah Tisdale had 3 aces, 7 kills, and 4 blocks. Madison Stevens had 8 kills. Lillie Jordan had 7 kills. Ahyliah Smiling had 6 kills. Samantha Townsend had 4 digs.
The Latta Lady Vikings are 14-3 for the season.
Round 2 of the SCHSL 1-A Lower State playoffs will be held Monday, October 27, at Latta High School. The opponent will be region rival Carvers Bay. The time is to be determined.
Latta’s head coach is Genesis Anderson. The assistant coaches are Amber Jordan and Shelley Marsch.
