Latta picked up the eighth victory of the season with a 3-0 win over Hannah Pamplico in Region 6 A in varsity volleyball played in Latta on Thursday, September 25.
The set scores were: set 1, Latta 25 and Hannah Pamplico 17; set 2, Latta 25 and Hannah Pamplico 22; and set 3, Latta 25 and Hannah Pamplico 13.
Latta’s Chayse Walters had 2 aces and 27 assists. Samantha Townsend had 4 assists and 14 digs. Madison Stevens had 14 kills and 9 digs. Alyiah Tisdale had 6 kills, 5 blocks, and 4 digs. Ahliyah Smiling had 8 kills. Lillie Jordan had 5 kills and 5 blocks. Maliyah Bethea had a block.
Latta has 8 wins and 2 losses in the season and is perfect with 7 wins and no losses in Region play.
