The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office continues to get complaints about the sale of illegal narcotics taking place within this county.
The sale of these illegal narcotics is something that law enforcement takes very seriously and will not tolerate.
Agents with the Violent Crime Task Force received complaints of an individual located at 523 Bermuda Rd., Dillon, selling illegal narcotics.
At this time Law Enforcement conducted an extensive investigation into this matter, which led to the probable cause needed to obtain a search warrant for this residence.
On 05/09/24, deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on this address in which led to the arrest of Thomas Ray Causey, age 44, of Dillon.
Suspect was arrested on charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine, as well as possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics.
The sale of illegal narcotics will remain under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
All suspects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
