Beulah Baptist Church concluded the fourth in a series of Monday night revivals through August with Pastor Robbie Baxley of the First Baptist Church in Mullins in the pulpit.
Gary Bethea welcomed everyone and led the congregation in “Victory In Jesus”.
Rev. David Owens offered a prayer and welcomed everyone to the service. He also recognized the preachers, Rev. James Smith of East Dillon Baptist Church and Rev. Harold Cooke of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, for their attendance. Pastor Owens remarked that Pastor Robbie Baxley had previously worked at Dillon Family Medicine for 17 years and also sang with a Southern gospel quartet for many years.
Pastor Robbie Baxley blessed the congregation with his singing of “Beulah Land” and the “Midnight Cry”.
Pastor Baxley’s sermon was from Phillipians chapter 3, verses 12-14, and entitled “Press On”.
After his sermon, an invitation was given followed by the Benediction.
Beulah Baptist Church is located at 2331 Harllees Bridge Road, Hamer, S.C.
