Peggy Jo Britt Christenburg, 70, passed away at the McLeod Medical Center in Dillon August 30, 2025. Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2025 in Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at he funeral home prior to the service.
Peggy Jo was born in Dillon, SC the daughter of the late Andrew Zack Britt and Iva Gladys Hayes Britt. She graduated from Dillon High School. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from David’s accounting after twenty-five years of bookkeeping.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Jo Hyatt of Dillon, SC; son, Andrew Britt of Floyd Dale, SC; and grandson, Kobie King of Dillon, SC. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace Britt, and brothers, Andrew Zack Britt, Jr. and Jerry T. Britt.
