The swimming area at the Little Pee Dee State Park will close for the season on Labor Day weekend, September 1st. Swimming is only allowed in the designated swimming area which is marked by ropes and bouys. There are rules for the swimming area posted and a life ring is available if needed. The swimming area opens at 9 a.m. and closes one hour before sunset. There is no lifeguard so swimming is at your own risk. This will be the last swimming for this summer.
