DCS would like to introduce you to one of their new middle school teachers, Mrs. Lauren Stokes!
Mrs. Stokes and her family are relocating to the Dillon area from Denham Springs, Louisiana. Lauren has this to say about joining us here at DCS: “I have been teaching in Christian education for the last fifteen years and it has truly been a blessing. God has given me a passion for students and making sure they feel loved while they are at school. I hope to bring my love of learning to DCS and look forward to sharing that with my students. My goal is for students to know the love of Christ and how to grow in Him, while also seeing how that love and growth plays a role in their education. I would also like to see students fall in love with literature and writing, which are also passions of mine. I love to read and write whenever I can find the time. I also love spending time with my family. My husband Jeff and my kids Sydney, Addison and Liam are the joys of my life. I am so thankful that God saw fit for me to be a part of your amazing school and I look forward to a great school year.”
