4-H Cooking with Culture Workshop: A Taste of Morocco!
Ready to travel the world through food? Join us for a flavorful 4-H Cooking with Culture workshop where youth will explore Moroccan cuisine and culture—right from the kitchen!
Date: July 15th
Time: 9:30 am to 12 pm (Please drop off no later than 9:20, pick up is at 12 pm)
Location: 206 Airport Ct, Mullins, SC
Ages: 9–18
Cost: $15 per youth
Participants will cook with a traditional Tagine and prepare a Moroccan-style meal while discovering the rich foodways, spices, and customs that make Moroccan cuisine so unique.
This hands-on experience will blend culinary skills with cultural education, giving youth a deeper appreciation for global traditions and the stories behind the food we share.

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in 4HOnline is required for participation in this event.
Youth must be approved, enrolled members in 4HOnline with South Carolina 4-H Youth Development to attend this event. This is a custodial care event. Only adult chaperones and invited facilitators approved to be at the event will be allowed on-site during this event. Youth must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian or designated representative.
