The Latta Lady Vikings returned home with a 3-0 win over Lewisville Lady Lions on Tuesday, May 27, in the first game of the 1A State playoffs played at Richburg, S.C.
The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth inning. Samantha Townsend hit a sac bunt that scored 2 runs. In the top of the seventh inning, Latta added another run to the scoreboard.
