Dillon County Historical Society Meeting

Our second quarterly meeting of 2025 will be Thursday, May 15th at The James W. Dillon House. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Please Park either in front of the house or behind the fire department and house.

This will be a business meeting so please try to be there. We have several issues to discuss. Among those issues: condition of the Dillon House and the Dillon County Museum and other projects for 2025. After the meeting, we are invited to hear Judge James E. Lockemy speak at the Dillon County Theatre at 7:00 p.m. Judge Lockemy will be doing his last speaking engagement for SC250. He will be speaking about the skirmish at Rouse’s Ferry during the Revolutionary War.
