A one-vehicle fatal collision occurred just north of Latta on Monday, April 14th at approximately 3:43 p.m. at a home on Highway 301 beside the old House of Henry.
According to Cpl. Nick Pye of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver was in a 2016 Chevrolet SUV. The driver of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries, Pye said.
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley identifies the victim as 33-year-old black male Ernest Inman, III, of Dillon County.
The vehicle was traveling north on U.S. Highway 301. The vehicle went left of center, ran off the road to the left, and struck a house. This collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
