A fatal collision occurred in Dillon County on April 13th at approximately 4:37 p.m., according to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at the private property residence of 518 Southpark Court, approximately one half mile south of Latta.
Unit 1 was operating a 2008 Chevrolet ATV. This individual was not injured.
Unit 2 was a pedestrian, who is deceased. Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified him as Levonda Page, a 47-year-old black male from Dillon County. He was transported to Grand Strand Hospital at the time of the collision.
Trooper Ridgeway said that Unit 1 was traveling south in the private property residence. Unit 2, who was at the private property residence, was struck by Unit 1. The pedestrian passed away at Grand Strand Hospital. The collision is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
