Army Chaplain Prays For Active Duty Military And Veterans At Prayer Service

LIFT OF THE WORD – LIGHT UP THE WORLD (2nd Samuel): The Ministers of Dillon County Organization came together at noontime today at the front steps of the county courthouse as part of the National Day of Prayer. Local pastors, city/town mayors, elected and appointed officials, choir singers, and members of the community took time to pray together for Dillon County. Among those speaking, Army Chaplain David Morgan prayed for our active duty military and our military Veterans. Dillon VFW Commander John Harlow said, “Chaplain Morgan praying for our deployed troops, their families, our military Veterans, the families of Dillon service members killed in wartime, and other prayers for our military, is deeply appreciated and means so much to our military members.” Pictured are those local Veterans attending the National Day of Prayer with Dillon Mayor Tally McColl, and Lake View Mayor Sterling Lee.
