MANNING, SC – The holiday season is heating up with the 27th Annual District 9 Christmas Basketball Tournament, set to take place December 26–28, 2024, at Manning Junior and High Schools. This beloved community tradition will feature elite high school teams from across the Midlands battling for championship titles in both varsity boys’ and girls’ divisions.
Daily games tip off at 10:00 a.m., and basketball fans of all ages are invited to join the excitement.
This year’s tournament introduces an exciting new event—the Middle School Border Battle! Boys’ and girls’ teams from Clarendon and Sumter counties will compete for the County Cup, adding even more local pride and energy to the tournament lineup.
The action-packed tournament will culminate on Saturday, December 28, with championship games starting at 4:00 PM inside Sumter, SC’s Morris College – Garrick-Boykin Human Development Center.
