The Baptist Hill Bobcats won 16-0 over the Latta Vikings in 1 A varsity football action played in Hollywood, S.C., on Friday, November 15.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
Although each team moved the football, neither team could muster a score in the second quarter that continued the 10-0 lead for the Bobcats at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Bobcats’ Jaden Douglas recovered a fumble and scampered 52 yards for the touchdown. The 2-point conversion failed.
Both defenses controlled the football in the final quarter as no one crossed the goal line for a score.
Overall Latta had 5 wins and 6 losses for the 2024 season with 4 wins and 2 losses in region 1 A play.
