*Rough Cut Ranch:
Where tradition meets tranquility, this gem offers a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, whisking you away to the heartland where a 100-year-old barn stands testament to the enduring spirit of pastoral Americana. This family-owned and operated haven, recently transplanted from the verdant hills of Vermont, is an unfolding project of love and restoration. Witness the revival of history as efforts to refurbish the grand barn and home exterior unfold before your eyes each board and beam whispering stories of a century past. Here, rolling fields invite you to indulge in the simple pleasure of farm-fresh eggs and hand-picked produce, the fruits of an honest day’s toil. Engage with the lively barnyard animals who eagerly await to make your acquaintance, perhaps offering a soft nuzzle as you feed them from your palm. Whether it’s the gentle hum of nature, the cluck and bleat of the farm’s residents, or the satisfaction of supporting sustainable agriculture, this family farm anchors you solidly in the embrace of country living.

* Pyerian Baptist Church – Founded in 1903 in Floyd Dale, South Carolina, Pyerian Baptist Church has a rich history in Dillon County. The name “Pyerian” comes from the Greek root meaning “fountain of knowledge”. The name is appropriate as the church originally met in Pyerian School which closed very early in the 1900’s. The church however continued in the building and kept the name. Eventually the church expanded, adding wings to both sides of the sanctuary, a fellowship hall, and education building. Eventually the church grew, requiring a new 500 seat sanctuary in the new century. The church has complete services each Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening. This includes Christian education and discipling for every age. The church works both in the area community and around the world for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
