The Dillon Middle School Chorus traveled to the Riverside Epicenter in Atlanta,Ga to participate in the Southern Star music festival under the direction of Mr. Joshua Fleetwood. This festival features choirs from Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma and many other states. The students had to sing in front of a panel of 3 nationally renowned judges. The students scored the Silver Standard award and earned high marks in all categories. Students also enjoyed a day of fun on Thursday that included trips to the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca Cola. We appreciate the support of the public of Dillon,SC.
