The Bethesda Academy Blazers of Savannah, Georgia, defeated the visiting Dillon Christian School Warriors 35-6 in varsity football action played in Savannah, Ga. on Friday, October 11.
Bethesda Academy kicked off to Dillon Christian School to start the game.
With about 11 minutes remaining in the first quarter, the Blazers scored a rushing touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good. Bethesda Academy led 8-0. Jordan Cheever added 6 points on a rushing touchdown with about 6 minutes to go in the first quarter. Cheever added the 2-point conversion. The Blazers were up 16-0.
With about 4 minutes left in the first quarter, Raleigh Wesley rushed for a TD. The 2-point conversion failed. Bethesda Academy led 22-0.
The Blazers added an 11-yard rushing TD with about 6 minutes remaining in the first quarter. Hociel Hernandez Garcia’s PAT was good. The Blazers led 29-0. This score held until halftime.
The Dillon Christian School Warriors kicked off to the Bethesda Academy Blazers to begin the second half.
Bethesda Academy’s Cheever scored a 5-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. The PAT was missed. Bethesda Academy led 35-0.
