The Latta Lady Vikings won 3-0 over the Hemingway Lady Tigers in varsity Region 6A volleyball action played in Latta on Thursday, October 3, with set scores of 25-3, 25-5, and 25-8.
Latta’s varsity Madison Berry had 10 aces while Aubrey Allen had 9 aces and 3 kills. Hendley Ann McIntyre had 8 aces and 10 assists. Chayse Walters had 4 kills, and Sophie Haselden and Selena Velazques each had 3 kills.
Latta is 8-1 in Region play.
Latta’s head coach is Genesis A. Rogers.
Latta will host the Lake View Lady Wild Gators on Tuesday, October 8, for another region matchup.
The Latta Lady Vikings will recognize their seniors between the junior varsity and varsity games in this las regular season home game. Junior varsity action will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by the varsity action to begin at 6:00 p.m.
The Hemingway Lady Tigers will travel to Lake View on October 10.
