Edith Bryant, 91, passed away October 4, 2024 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
The funeral service will be announced. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Edith was born in Marion County October 26, 1932, the daughter of the late William Emery Bryant and Maggie Coward Bryant. At the age of Twelve she became a member of Union Baptist Church in the Temperance Hill Community of Marion County South Carolina. She switched her membership to Latta Baptist Church at the age of twenty-six, where she remained a dedicated member. Edith served on various church committees and was a member of the Harriet Dew Sunday School Class.
She began her service for the state of South Carolina at Dillon County Health Department in 1956, ending her career in 1988, at the Marion County Department of Social Services after thirty-two years of dedicated service.

Edith is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
