The Second Baptist Church in Dillon held the fourth Unity in The Community joint Sunday evening worship service on Sunday, September 29, at 6:00 p.m.
The Second Baptist Praise and Worship Team not only began the pre-service but also the opening of the service with gospel singing to the delight of everyone followed by the congregation and the Praise and Worship Team with hymns. The Praise Team once again sang hymns.
Dillon Second Baptist Church Pastor Richie Hicks welcomed everyone and had prayer. He also discussed that Dillon Second Baptist Church was preparing a truckload of items to take to one of the areas devastated by Hurricane Helene for distribution. Other churches also will participate in this.
Some of the song selections were “Tell Somebody”, “Love Lifted Me”, “What He’s Done”, “Hallelujah To The King”, and “Made For Me”.
The speaker was Evangelist Scott Eadie from Givhans, located in Dorchester County, S.C. He holds revivals and crusades throughout the United States. His passion is to reach all people with the gospel of Christ.
His sermon was from Revelations 22:10, “Do not seal up the prophetic words of this book, for the appointed time is near”.
An invitation was given at the end of the sermon.
